Clinical massage uses a combination of advanced bodywork techniques to achieve a specific outcome. Techniques such as Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Soft Tissue Release, Deep Forearm, Hot & Cold Stones, Acupressure and Sports Stretching aim to eliminate/reduce pain and increase range of movement within 3-6 sessions. (The number of sessions may vary depending on the problem).

Clients will also benefit from having a monthly ‘maintenance’ session to keep painful conditions under control and prevent their recurrence.

Aftercare will also be discussed within the session, this may include stretches, exercises and relaxation techniques which allow you to take control and understand what triggers the problem.

For long-term medical conditions such as fibromyalgia, arthritis, etc, a long-term plan of care is required- fortnightly or monthly sessions are beneficial.

Whilst clinical massage aims to locate the source of the problem, we also treat the whole person- thus delivering a holistic approach to your health and wellbeing.

“After suffering with sciatica for years I had tried most things and accepted that I may need to just live with the pain. After seeing Chichester Clinical Massage’s website, I thought I’d give Donna a try – I had nothing to lose! After the first session, I was in less pain and reduced my pain relief medication. After 3 weekly sessions, the pain was almost gone and I was able to cycle again.”
